“Let’s GO Cottage Grove” Happenings

Public Works & Development Staff with Branch Engineering, using the 2015 Main Street Refinement Plan, have created conceptual drawings to assist the City Council’s decision on three outstanding design features for the Main Street Revitalization Plan. Staff will be looking for direction on the Americans with Disabilities Act compliant ramps and corner bulb outs, the street/sidewalk widths, and how many street trees per block.

On Thursday, January 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Staff will be at the Community Center to gather feedback from property/business owners on the drawings to present to City Council along with the conceptual drawings.

An EDA Main Street Revitalization Project specific City Council meeting is scheduled for January 23, 2023. Staff will continue to update the webpage with the latest conceptual drawings as soon as they are available.
