The Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has brought devastation to our local businesses. In August, we launched a t-shirt fundraiser to support small businesses during the closures. The funds from sales would go back to businesses. We partnered with Hyva, who helped us with the online sales site and the printing. However, we experienced some issues with the process. This was initially a great idea but they did not have the capacity to follow through with what they promised. We are now selling some in person at the Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, 5 Flying Monkeys, Shampoo Dolls, and Buster’s Main Street Café. BUY YOUR SHIRT NOW!!
Shop local during the Pandemic
To slow the spread and decrease COVID-19 cases, Governor Kate Brown announced limited restrictions as the cases increased in Oregon. Governor Brown created a system based on risk category. The Governor will announce counties for each category biweekly. As of June 1, 2021, Lane county is in the High risk category. Please click this LINK to view restrictions in each risk category.
